I sometimes download something I later decide I don't want..but I don't see any way to delete that file?

why is there no menu option or minimize button and why does the downloading stop after a while, its stops after certain percentage and there has to a option to size the window, it either full screen or not attall.. and why does the download stop after around 90 percent after eating up all my data..?? and don't give me "the crap" to download the latest version or anything.. i have already done that and manythings that i am not mentioning, inshort i am up-to-date. Now if its some glitch, would you care to fix it..?
